My very first portfolio site, built in 2018 after months of teaching myself React. This project marked the beginning of my web development journey and helped me land my first job.
This is where it all started for me. In 2018, I spent months teaching myself React and web development to build this portfolio from scratch. I honestly didn't know where I was going with it at first, just that I wanted to make something real. A lot of late nights and rabbit holes later, it paid off and helped me land my first developer role.
The portfolio showcased projects I'd built along the way, some from courses and others created from scratch, like my Filmbase project. Each one gave me a chance to pick up new skills while having something tangible to show for it.
